STEM
Engineering
Program Overview: Engineering pathway courses include Introduction to Engineering Design, Principles of Engineering, and Computer Integrated Manufacturing. These courses are part of a Project Lead the Way (PLTW) curriculum.
Students develop problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking skills for the design and production of materials and products. They are exposed to animated designs, 3D printers, and robotics. Students learn about the engineering process through communication, prototyping, automating, and constructing 3D models.
Engineering Design and Development Capstone: Students interested in pursuing a capstone experience could continue their training through more advanced course work through one of our partner colleges or completing a work experience through one of our partner organizations.
Dual Credit - This pathway has the potential to earn dual credit with Ivy Tech: DESN 101 (3 credit hours), DESN 104 (3 credit hours)
